Awaken is a Bible-teaching, Christian church and one of the greatest attributes of Awaken Church is that we have families from many different backgrounds and ethnicities.
We are one family, together united by the bond we have in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are not about building a religion, but about growing in a relationship with God and with each other.
Our mission is to help you WAKE UP to the gospel of Jesus, teach you to RISE in your relationship with Him, and to equip you to SHINE the light of Christ to others.

Your First Visit to Awaken Church in Tifton
At Awaken Church in Tifton, GA, we want to help you grow through every season of life and in every avenue of life. As a young church celebrating its grand opening in late 2019, we’ll be adding even more opportunities to connect and serve as we continue to grow. Its an exciting time to be visiting Awaken Church!

Service Time + Location
Our address is 3690 US HWY 82W, Tifton, GA. Our weekly services are held every Sunday at 9:15am & 10:30am. The service typically wraps up before noon.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our friendly hospitality volunteers who can answer any question you may have or help you find your way around.
We saved you some coffee!
We realize it’s not always easy to get out the door on a Sunday morning – especially if you have a few kids in tow! After you stop by our “New Here? Start Here!” welcome table, be sure to head to the coffee bar for a FREE, fresh cup of coffee before service!
Worship Style
Awaken embraces an authentic, passionate style of worship where people have the ability to worship God in an uplifting, modern worship service. We believe worship should be done in order, not distracting; but at the same time passionate and real.
Dress casually
At Awaken Church, you can expect a casual atmosphere for fellowship and worship. Whether you’re comfortable in camo or khakis, you’ll find a little bit everything on a Sunday at Awaken!
Connect in Small Groups
Small Groups are where community is built and where discipleship blossoms. We encourage everyone who is a part of Awaken Church to get plugged into a small group. Small groups run during the fall and spring, taking a break for the Summer and Thanksgiving/Christmas Season.

Very friendly people. I feel like they are more like an extended family. I’m not a person to ask for help, but if I need them, I know they would help. Not your traditional church service. No hymnals. The songs are very modern and upbeat. The sermons are great and hold my interest. I can apply it to everyday life! To me that’s important. I feel I am growing closer to the Lord by attending church at Awaken Church. I’m still a sinner and have a long way to go, but at least now I feel I’m gaining ground.Come and see for yourself!

I really feel like I have found somewhere that I love. After I left church Sunday I immediately called my mom almost in tears telling her how good I felt about being there. When I walked through the doors I just felt like I was where I needed to be! ❤️ This is a great church! I look forward to many more sundays there!

Awaken Church loves families
Awaken Kids 4 & Under
We offer a safe, friendly environment where children can come expecting to have a ton of fun learning about God in amazing ways. We believe in much more than just babysitting. This interactive class is built around the Bible app for kids. Our volunteers joyfully look forward to serving your kids on Sunday!
Awaken Kids 5-10
We believe the Bible should be fun and exciting. This class is designed for ages 5-10. It’s a fun, interactive class with a driven-home lesson and fun extras.
Teens and Preteens
On Sundays: While our service is planned and prepared with the adult in mind, we also are very mindful of our preteens and teens at Awaken Church. Our desire is to see them grow in their passion and love for Christ and his church. As our church grows, we will be adding specific ministries for students this age.
On Wednesdays: Students in grades 6-12 are invited to Woke Wednesdays – our small group specifically designed for teenagers.
